March Willow Creek Activities

Saturday, March 17: [5 P.M.] Pot luck carry in. This event will be a celebration of St. Patrick's Day, the spring equinox and first quarter birthdays. Corn beef and cabbage, Shepherd's pie and Colcannon will be provided. Bring a side dish to compliment the main course. Following the dinner, we will have bingo and 50/50 drawing. Remember to WEAR GREEN!
Tuesday, March 20: [2 P.M.] Bowling at Athen's Bowling Lanes. Following bowling we will go to Applebee's for food and socializing.
Thursday, March 22: [3 P.M.] Willow Creek book club will meet. We are reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah - Come and participate in our discussion.
Saturday, March 24: [2 P.M.] Black and White movie day! We will be showing Casablanca. Popcorn and pizza provided.
Monday, March 26: [8:30 A.M.] We will leave for a trip to Cade's Cove. We will be taking a 4 hour guided bus tour. There are still 2 seats available if anyone wants to participate. Cost is $15/person. If you reserved your seat and still have yet to pay, please contact Olivia Shutter.
Tuesday, March 27: [2 P.M.] Monthly Social Committee meeting. All are welcome to come and participate.
Thursday, March 29: [10:30 A.M.] Leave for Crossville to visit the Cumberland County Playhouse and see Mousetrap. Following the play, we will dine at the local state park. The tickets have been purchased in advance. If you have not paid, please do so. Cost $25/person [group rate]. Please remit payment to Glenn Edwards.
Saturday, March 31: [3 P.M.] Our annual community Easter dinner hosted at Jim & Glenn Edward's home. Social gathering will begin at 3 P.M. Dinner to be served at 4 P.M. Ham and chicken will be provided; please bring a side dish to share. RSVP via email to Glenn or call 423-836-9444 with the dish you plan to bring.

Upcoming Events

Friday & Saturday, May 4 -5: [8 A.M. -?] Spring Community Garage Sale. The social committee will pay for advertising & Willow Creek will post via social media platforms.
Saturday, June 16: [2 P.M.] The annual Sweetwater Citizens for the Arts garden party will be held here in willow creek. We have some big ideas planned so consider buying a ticket and attending. A portion of the ticket price goes to support a wonderful cause.

All are always welcome to attend our regularly scheduled Social Events:

Mah Jong: Sundays and Wednesdays at 1pm
Porch Pickers: Wednesdays at 2pm
Cards: Thursdays at 7pm
Darts: Fridays at 6:30pm
